From a Dime to the Prime - A Journey through Manifesting the Destiny
Always had high hopes for living even when I could not make a dime. Staying up on the rise is the only thought I would grasp to move forward through hardships and cross my goals every time. I always have the starry eyes for making everything get-at-able for the commoners. My journey from Marketing Mogul to the Empathetic Entrepreneur unfolds with chapters of different stages in my life.
From a Dime
My journey traces back to where I began my career as a simple commoner juggling between the work and the house in a tier two city. It never ceases to amaze me how much time people waste searching endlessly for magic shortcuts to entrepreneurial success and fulfillment when the only real path is staring them right in the face: real entrepreneurs who start real businesses that employ real people provide real products and services to real customers.
Yes, I know that’s hard. It's a lot of work. What can I say? That’s Life. Besides, look on the bright side: You get to do what you want, and you get to do it your way. There’s just one catch. I have got to start somewhere. Ideas and opportunities don’t just materialize out of thin air. That is how I stepped into the marketing career as an aspiring individual with a heart full of hopes!
Excellent Execution is the Ultimate Differentiator
The business has only two functions — innovation and marketing. I had the wildest opportunities to endorse national hit products and had the chance to make it reachable to everyone. It has been over 20 years since I built my advertising company with the cutting edge advertising strategy through which I reached millions of people to place the products right. I habitually look at the world of business with a skeptical eye and a firmly rooted tongue in cheek. The only way I know to get started is by learning a marketable skill and getting to work. In my experience, that’s where the ideas, opportunities, partners, and finances always seem to come from. Sure, it also takes an enormous amount of hard work, but that just comes with the territory.
The most challenging part is being taken seriously, both by those around me and other businesspeople. It's fair to have a challenging project or situation because I'll figure out a way to accomplish it, even if it means spending more hours and educating myself. It was not all rosy for me to turn my business with a turnover of millions. Running my own business takes a lot of discipline. You can't run a solo operation and expect your business to survive, especially in this economy, without sacrificing most of your social life and working yourself to the bone. When I started my own business, I had to make choices, some of which were sacrifices. There are some things you will gain and some things you will lose. It's a balancing act
Life is full of Care, No Time to Stand & Stare
Everybody has their own stumbles and rumbles in their life at a point of time. It’s always an uphill for oddities. Such a huge oddity was the pandemic situation tolling every lives on earth. Situations with economy line marching down, increased famine in the poor households, and what not. As the forced lockdown compels humanity to ponder over the choices made in the past few decades, a thread that stands out universally is that our lives are fragile. The things we took for granted were easily snatched away from our hands. The ubiquitous Indian railway, the friendly vegetable hawker, the drive to the nearest hyper-market are no longer available at our beck and call as the resilience of these inter-connected networks are frayed at the edges. It did hit my enterprise and business career.
Food played an indomitable role in this pandemic situation as it was the first concern of every human to feed thyself and family. But I believe epidemics like the coronavirus outbreak are a mirror for humanity, reflecting the moral relationships that people have toward one other. I couldn’t keep my head out of the thought the food in its pure stage is still not accessible to the commoners and laymen of our region. That hit me hard and that is when I started to search a light through the gloominess of the world. I couldn’t stand and stare at the quality of food we are consuming even knowing the risks are at the stakes. Organic Foods was my another venture I step into to turn the tables of the stereotype “Organic food is a rich commodity” to make it accessible and available at the budget list of a middle class man.
Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns Grow
I am aways a believer of “The best way out is always through” - Striving hard to grow through what I go through. I envision our nation with more nourished and healthy citizens through making the “rich commodity” organic foods available at the doorstep of each house in the nation without empty out their pockets. I am striving hard to turn my little spark into a huge Oak of success.
